Implementation Services Engineer

TL;DR

Implementation Services Engineer (Cloud/DevOps): Delivering end-to-end client implementations for HashiCorp solutions with an accent on installation, system configuration, testing, and architecture guidance. Focus on managing implementation plans and customer expectations while solving complex performance, scalability, reliability, and security challenges in hybrid/multi-cloud environments.

Location: Madrid, Spain (Onsite). Some travel may be required based on business demand.

What you will do

• Own the full lifecycle of client implementations from internal hand-off through installation, system configuration, and testing.
• Act as a subject matter expert on HashiCorp architecture, tools, and products.
• Provide technical guidance for business decisions across performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Manage implementation plans, weekly status reporting, project metrics, and risk mitigation.
• Facilitate discovery and requirements analysis sessions with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Handle escalations and coordinate expectations with customer and internal resources; provide limited training and post-implementation support when needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years of experience in Technical Account Management, Customer Support, Sales Engineering, or equivalent.
• Fluency in English and Spanish with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work late/evening shifts as required by business needs.
• Strong skills in infrastructure architecture, cloud, IT operations, security, and development technologies/processes.
• Proficiency with DevOps, IT operations, security, cloud, microservices, containers, and scheduling platforms.

Nice to have

• Production experience with Vault.
