Senior AI Engineer (Observability)

Location: Must be based in Canada (Canada time zones only)

Salary: CAD 129,392 - CAD 217,128

What you will do

• Develop and deliver high-performance AI features for incident detection, triage, and resolution.
• Prototype, test, and validate LLM- and agent-powered workflows for incident lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with data analysts, product managers, and designers to integrate AI components into observability tools.
• Take full ownership of AI solutions, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with user needs.
• Utilize AI and automation tools to enhance product functionality and internal development workflows.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada (Canada time zones only)
• Strong experience building production software systems (backend or full stack).
• Proven track record of delivering software that is actively used in production.
• Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and building GenAI-powered applications.
• Exposure to cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience using observability tools to troubleshoot system behavior.

Nice to have

• Experience building agent frameworks or multi-agent workflows.
• Familiarity with infrastructure tooling like Kubernetes, Docker, or Terraform.
• Experience with model fine-tuning techniques.
• Background in building observability tooling.
