Senior Engineer (Java/IBM ODM)

What you will do

• Design and implement business rules and decision services using IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM).
• Develop Java-based applications and services that integrate with ODM decision services.
• Collaborate with business analysts to translate business policies into executable decision logic.
• Deploy, test, and manage rule applications within ODM environments.
• Optimize rule performance and troubleshoot execution issues.
• Support CI/CD processes and maintain technical documentation and governance standards.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM).
• Strong proficiency in Java, RESTful Web Services, and SQL.
• Experience with IBM ODM Rule Designer, Decision Center, and Rule Execution Server.
• Understanding of BRMS and decision automation concepts.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of software development experience using Java.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
