TL;DR
eDiscovery Technical Advisor (eDiscovery/Litigation Support): Identifying, preserving, collecting, processing, analyzing, and producing electronically stored information for civil and criminal litigation, FOIA requests, and congressional inquiries with an accent on Relativity, Veritas eDiscovery, Enterprise Vault, and legal hold workflows. Focus on developing case discovery plans, administering review-platform data, identifying data gaps, assuring production quality, and supporting FBI attorneys, paralegals, and case teams.
Location: Hybrid role based in Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC; U.S. citizenship required
Salary: $137,200–$186,200 per year

What you will do
- Identify, preserve, collect, process, analyze, and produce electronically stored information for civil and criminal litigation, FOIA requests, congressional inquiries, subpoenas, and other legal matters.
- Develop and document case-specific discovery plans covering search parameters such as date ranges, keywords, and custodians.
- Collect data from FBI IT systems and storage locations, including Exchange servers, shared drives, desktops, text messages, and instant messages.
- Administer electronic discovery review platforms by creating cases, adding source data, managing access rights, uploading logs, deduplicating data, verifying collections, and creating Bates-numbered productions and load files.
- Coordinate collection results with FBI units responsible for review, redaction, and release, and analyze results for data gaps.
- Support legal hold requests, provide end-user assistance and training, and advise attorneys, paralegals, and other users on eDiscovery procedures and applications.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance are required; an active clearance is preferred.
- At least 5 years of eDiscovery or litigation support experience, including 3 years of progressively responsible work on major litigation support projects.
- At least 2 years of Relativity experience beyond document review coding.
- Experience across the full EDRM lifecycle, from file identification through trial.
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and technical support skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience; a JD is highly preferred.
