CNC Programmer - Mill-Turn

Salary: $80,000.00–$120,000.00 annually

What you will do

• Create detailed operation sheets and CNC programs for high-precision machined parts and sub-assemblies.
• Define manufacturing sequences, tooling, gauging, and machine requirements to streamline production.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, production, and vendors to resolve issues and improve manufacturability.
• Work hands-on in the production environment, assisting with program prove-outs and troubleshooting.
• Recommend and implement process enhancements, tooling upgrades, and design modifications.
• Assist with estimating costs and timelines for new proposals and tooling development.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s) or 6+ years (Associate) or 8+ years (High School Diploma/GED).
• 3+ years of CNC programming experience using CAD/CAM software.
• Experience with mill-turn machines.
• Strong process engineering knowledge from raw material to finished product.
• Hands-on experience with machine setup and operation.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills across departments.

Nice to have

• Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• Aerospace industry background.
• Experience integrating machine automation.
• Skills in inspection of machined parts.
• Hands-on machining experience with stainless steel, titanium, and aluminum.
• Proficiency in CNC programming using Siemens NX.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing; Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
