What you will do

• Create high-efficiency 2D nesting layouts using CAD/CAM software to minimize material waste.
• Program CNC cutting machines including laser, plasma, waterjet, and punch systems.
• Convert 3D models into precise 2D files and review CAD geometry for production readiness.
• Manage the CMTR process to ensure full material traceability and audit compliance.
• Collaborate with schedulers and shop floor teams to optimize machine throughput and meet production deadlines.
• Troubleshoot programming and machine operation issues directly on the shop floor.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in Fairfield, Ohio
• 2–4 years of CNC programming and machine scheduling experience in a fabrication environment.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SigmaNEST, ProNest, AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and ERP systems.
• Expertise in G-code programming, blueprint reading, and GD&T.
• High School Diploma/GED and CNC Programming certification required.
• Strong knowledge of CMTR requirements and material traceability standards.
