What you will do

• Create and optimize CNC programs for 3, 4, and 5-axis mills and multi-tasking centers using Siemens NX and GibbsCAM.
• Develop 3D models from blueprints and design custom fixtures and specialized tooling.
• Prove out programs on the shop floor using Fanuc/Siemens controls and generate first-article prototypes.
• Revise existing programs to reduce cycle times and extend tool life for Nickel, Titanium, and Stainless Steel.
• Conduct inspections and modeling using CMM, laser scanning, and GD&T interpretation.
• Lead moderate-scope project teams and train junior technical staff in Lean/Continuous Improvement solutions.

Requirements

• A.A.S. in Machining/Machine Tool Technology or B.S. in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering.
• 7–12 years of experience in the Aerospace or Power Generation industry.
• Expertise in Siemens NX (5-axis milling) and GibbsCAM (turning).
• Deep knowledge of GD&T, macro programming, and on-machine probing.
• Specialized experience machining Nickel-based super-alloys and Titanium.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Project) and 3D CAD modeling.
