3rd Shift Entry Level Machinist

Location: Onsite in Blacksburg, VA

Salary: $18.50–$22.00 per hour

What you will do

• Perform basic operations on drill presses, lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
• Operate various power hand tools, sanders, and bead blasters.
• Manage the care and application of turning, plunge, and form tools.
• Operate tapping machines and band saws, including selecting appropriate speeds and feeds.
• Complete all required production paperwork accurately.

Requirements

• Must be able to work onsite in Blacksburg, VA.
• Must have access to U.S. export-controlled information.
• At least one year of completion in an approved vocational program in Machine Technology or equivalent.
• Proficiency in general mathematics and ability to read gauges.
• Ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer work instructions.
