Machinist (CNC)

TL;DR

Machinist (CNC): Setting up and operating CNC lathes and mills to produce precision castings with an accent on tooling, fixturing, and maintaining tight tolerances. Focus on reading blueprints, performing precision measurements, and ensuring production efficiency on the 2nd shift.

Location: Must be based in Delavan, Wisconsin, USA

Salary: $28–$30/hr (plus 8% shift differential)

What you will do

• Perform full CNC setups including tooling, work holding, and fixturing.
• Operate CNC equipment, manual machines, and various hand/power tools.
• Use precision measuring gages to verify part dimensions.
• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T specifications.
• Make offsets and minor edits to maintain parts within tolerance.
• Perform autonomous maintenance and manage coolant ratios.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to Delavan, WI.
• 3+ years of CNC Mill and Lathe setup and operation experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints and GD&T.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be available for 2nd shift (2:00pm – 10:00pm, Monday - Friday).
