What you will do
- Generate significant annual revenue by managing customer accounts and developing new prospects within the NY territory.
- Develop and execute account plans, negotiate to meet sales targets, and consider margins and revenue.
- Prepare sales presentations, call plans, proposals, and reports; communicate market and competitive information.
- Forecast customer business plans/needs and identify new business opportunities for existing and new accounts.
- Coordinate customer interfaces with internal resources (technical, supply chain) to deliver value-added service.
- Mentor and lead sales representatives in neighboring territories and support a customer segmentation model using account financials.
Requirements
- Location: Preferred location is NY.
- 10+ years of sales experience.
- Experience making data-driven decisions using CRM systems.
- Strong financial and business acumen, including value selling and agronomics knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate with middle to senior management and drive favorable agreements.
- Ability to make independent judgments and decisions under minimum supervision.
