What you will do

• Facilitate maintenance work requests and prioritize assignments for the team.
• Communicate equipment status, breakdowns, and repair timelines to production and management.
• Conduct shift-start and shift-end meetings to coordinate priorities, training, and troubleshooting updates.
• Perform hands-on maintenance work and lead by example in safety and manufacturing practices.
• Manage inventory control and initiate purchase orders for necessary parts and equipment.
• Collaborate with vendors and engineering teams to improve machine performance and operational conditions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship or training program.
• 2-5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and industrial/manufacturing environments.
• 2-5 years of experience with electrical controls.
• 1-2 years of leadership experience managing a small team.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts in a continuous manufacturing operation.

Nice to have

• Experience with PLC systems.
• Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS).
• Basic Microsoft Office suite skills.
