PMO Analyst (Fintech)

TL;DR

PMO Analyst (Fintech): Supporting project managers through controls, reporting, and financial analysis within the Client Delivery business unit with an accent on project governance and portfolio health. Focus on implementing delivery standards, interpreting complex datasets for actionable insights, and managing project financial forecasting.

Location: Hybrid (3 days/week work from office in Sheffield, UK)

Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 per annum

What you will do

• Provide expert guidance to ensure compliance with project governance processes and standards.
• Develop and present reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support portfolio decision-making.
• Support project managers in controlling, forecasting, and reporting project financial health.
• Collaborate with finance and account management to track SOWs, change notices, and invoicing.
• Identify and implement initiatives to improve the control and quality of project delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum two years of financial PMO experience.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
• Experience working with integrated PPM tools.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Must be based in the UK and able to work from the Sheffield office 3 days per week

Nice to have

• Visual Basic/Macro skills and Power BI proficiency.
• Experience in the UK Financial Services sector.
• Software implementation project experience.
• PM or PMO related qualification.
