Salary: $115,400 - $192,300 (annual incentive bonus eligible)

What you will do

• Provide hands-on technical leadership through coding, reviews, troubleshooting, and mentoring engineers.
• Lead design, architecture, development, deployment, and support of complex software solutions and product features.
• Define and communicate technical direction aligned with product goals and business priorities.
• Partner with Product and cross-functional stakeholders to refine requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Drive engineering practices for clean code, testing, security, scalability, maintainability, and operational readiness.
• Own planning, estimation, sprint execution, and delivery discussions to balance speed, quality, and long-term sustainability.

Requirements

• Significant software engineering experience, including experience leading engineers or technical delivery.
• Experience leading technical decision-making and resolving complex issues across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Extensive experience with one or more modern programming languages: Python, Java, C#, .NET, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, distributed systems, scalability, performance, and security.
• Experience with AWS and modern engineering tooling such as Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD (including DevOps/infrastructure automation practices).
• Knowledge of Agile ways of working (backlog refinement, estimation, sprint planning, retrospectives) and strong communication/collaboration skills.
