TL;DR

Location: Must be based in Menlo Park, CA with in-person attendance required at least three days per week.

Salary: $161,637–$195,000 per year.

What you will do

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and data models for core product functionality.
  • Build and evolve distributed systems supporting business-critical workflows and transactions.
  • Own backend components throughout the full lifecycle from requirements to production support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end product features.
  • Improve system reliability and performance by identifying bottlenecks and optimizing service interactions.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and root cause analysis to ensure service stability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 years of professional experience in software engineering or a related occupation.
  • Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Go, Python, or Scala.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and distributed systems.
  • Hands-on experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, or DynamoDB.
  • Ability to work on-site in Menlo Park, CA at least three days per week.
