What you will do
- Lead complex performance improvement projects within the Clinical and Quality Transformation expertise pillar, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Serve as engagement director for small projects or act as SME for CPI workstreams, supporting assessment and implementation deliverables.
- Develop project plans and client deliverables; independently implement deliverables and lead performance improvement work teams toward future-state processes.
- Analyze clinical/operational data to identify issues and develop solutions aligned to process improvement and throughput initiatives.
- Create client-facing materials (e.g., slide decks) and independently meet with client and executive stakeholders to advance deliverables.
- Lead, manage, develop, mentor, and coach junior staff; manage expenses and time entry; contribute to internal advancement and thought leadership.
Requirements
- Work authorization: Must be able to provide verification of legal right to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
- 6+ years of clinical performance improvement consulting experience, or 10+ years in a relevant industry role with relevant licensure/certifications, including at least 5 years in a director-level leadership capacity (e.g., Registered Nurse, Social Worker, or health system performance improvement with Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or PMP).
- Bachelor’s degree required in health or related field; Master’s preferred (or must enroll and earn within three years of hire).
- Advanced proficiency in data analytics and benchmarking tools; credible subject matter expertise in the relevant domain.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management experience, plus strong communication, analytical, and client management skills.
- Operational knowledge of care management and related processes (e.g., status assignment, portal of entry management, patient placement, throughput, discharge barrier mitigation, post-acute care) and ability to interface with clinical and ancillary leaders.
