What you will do

• Lead technical and design processes, managing design teams and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure design compliance with current regulations, planning consents, and company standards.
• Review and input into bids, undertaking technical appraisals and assessing design requirements.
• Manage the flow of information between Commercial, Operations, and Client teams.
• Fulfil the CDM Principal Designer and Building Regulations Principal Design roles.
• Organize and chair technical coordination workshops and design team meetings.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in London, UK.
• Proven track record in managing design and technical processes for residential buildings.
• Experience with high-rise developments and building safety legislative frameworks.
• Strong technical knowledge to assess, challenge, and monitor design work compliance.
• Valid driving licence.
• Relevant construction industry knowledge including legislation, procedures, and design scoping.

Nice to have

• Membership of a professional body such as CIOB, CIAT, or RICS.
• Experience with CAD (AutoCAD or Revit) and BIM.
• Knowledge of PAS9980 fire risk assessments and temporary works.
• Minimum Level 4 (HNC/NVQ4) architectural or construction-based qualification.
