Senior Architectural Technologist (AI Infrastructure): Developing technical design packages for sustainable, high-performance data centres with an accent on RIBA Stages 3–5 and MEP integration. Focus on translating architectural concepts into buildable solutions and coordinating complex interfaces in highly serviced environments.
Location: Design Engineering Office in Wokingham, Berkshire

What you will do
- Develop detailed design and technical packages from RIBA Stage 3 through Stage 4 and into construction.
- Translate architectural concepts into fully coordinated technical information, drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Coordinate complex interfaces between architectural, structural, and MEP systems, specifically for plant spaces and service zones.
- Manage on-site technical challenges during RIBA Stage 5, including responding to RFIs and reviewing contractor proposals.
- Ensure design compliance with relevant standards and operational requirements for resilience and redundancy in data centres.
Requirements
- 8+ years’ professional experience in the UK or similar regulatory environment.
- Proven track record delivering projects through RIBA Stages 3–5.
- Demonstrable experience working on data centres or other highly serviced / complex buildings.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and BIM coordination tools.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction detailing, materials, and building systems.
