What you will do

• Architect and design software features for managing physical layer components like Phys and Transceivers.
• Develop and maintain code using C, C++, and Python while contributing to functional specifications.
• Collaborate with hardware and manufacturing teams to bring new Layer1 components to market.
• Build automated tests and infrastructure to ensure high-quality feature delivery.
• Analyze, mitigate, and resolve complex problems in customer networks in collaboration with support teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across projects.

Requirements

• BS in CS/EE/CE with 3+ years of experience, or MS with 2+ years, or PhD with 1+ year of experience.
• Expert knowledge of C or C++ and Python.
• Strong understanding of UNIX or Linux environments.
• Applied understanding of software engineering principles and troubleshooting.
• Ability to design solutions and implement features independently.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of digital communication technologies like modulation and signal encoding.
