Medical Information Client Manager / Team Lead (Pharmaceutical)

Location: Overland Park, Kansas, USA; eligible for hire in select U.S. locations

Salary: USD 121,000–150,000 yearly

What you will do

• Manage assigned medical information clients, including implementation, regular meetings, performance monitoring, escalations, audits, and invoicing.
• Act as the liaison between client stakeholders and the Medical Information Contact Center.
• Mentor, train, and support staff while maintaining accurate client, product, and procedure resources.
• Triage and respond to medical information inquiries from healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers, and payers across phone, email, CRM, and chat.
• Identify and document adverse events and product complaints in accordance with applicable procedures and post-marketing reporting requirements.
• Support medical writing, response document development, product research, process improvements, field training, and medical affairs activities.

Requirements

• Pharm.D. degree required; an advanced healthcare degree is preferred.
• One to two years of medical information or pharmaceutical industry experience required; two to five years preferred.
• Experience in medical information, drug information, a contact center, or the pharmaceutical industry.
• Ability to critically evaluate medical literature and apply therapeutic expertise.
• Knowledge of medical information systems, telephony, Microsoft Office, video conferencing platforms, and related processes.
• Ability to work full-time with flexible scheduling and travel up to 10% when required.

Nice to have

• Experience in oncology, hematology, immunology, rare disease, neurology, cardiology, or another specialty area.
• Project management and time management skills.
