Senior Network Engineer

TL;DR

Senior Network Engineer (Network Operations): Maintaining and optimizing hirify.global’s corporate and broadcast network infrastructure with an accent on routing, switching, and security operations. Focus on troubleshooting complex multi-technology issues, collaborating with engineering and automation teams, and participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Location: Must be based in New York, NY. This position is hybrid, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office, increasing to four days per week starting January 5, 2026.

Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 yearly

What you will do

• Maintain and support corporate and broadcast network infrastructure.
• Respond to service requests and resolve network incidents.
• Troubleshoot complex issues spanning multiple networking technologies.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and automation teams to improve network reliability.
• Work with vendors to identify root causes of network problems.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and work off-hours as required.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering.
• CCNP certification or equivalent knowledge.
• Strong understanding of routing and switching (QoS, BGP, OSPF, mpBGP, eVPN).
• Experience with firewalls, NAT, DMZ, and security rule management.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues across multiple technologies.
• Must be able to work on-site in New York.

Nice to have

• Experience with Software Defined networking products.
• Knowledge of Cisco ACI, Arista, VxLAN, and wireless technologies.
• Scripting skills in Python or Ansible.
• Experience with AAA software (ISE/ClearPass) and 802.1X/PKI concepts.
