What you will do

  • Analyze and respond to daily manufacturing plans, adjusting operations as needed.
  • Manage and lead a team of skilled hourly workers to ensure productivity and quality standards.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose complex equipment malfunctions.
  • Enforce National and Local UAW Agreements within the manufacturing environment.
  • Drive accountability and manage performance through effective communication and conflict resolution.
  • Collaborate across functions to solve technical issues and improve manufacturing processes.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of direct team supervisory experience or 5 months as an internal GM per diem group leader.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
  • Must be willing to work weekends and rotating shifts.
  • Experience reading electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic blueprints.
  • Ability to work in a loud, non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment with physical stamina for standing, lifting, and maneuvering.
