What you will do

• Perform basic plant maintenance, repair, and installation tasks.
• Repair and maintain machinery, mechanical, and electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdown problems to minimize downtime.
• Inspect, test, and operate machinery before releasing to manufacturing.
• Replace electrical components, motors, and adjust rolls and rollers.
• Diagnose and repair AC and DC motors and controls.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship or training program.
• Knowledge of mechanical maintenance methods for production equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
• Proficiency with electrical testing equipment such as meters and meggers.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a continuous manufacturing operation.
