What you will do

• Perform plant maintenance, repair, and installation tasks on production machinery.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment breakdowns, including AC/DC motors and controls.
• Inspect and test machinery to ensure safety and operational readiness before manufacturing release.
• Replace electrical components, belts, and mechanical parts as needed.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment like meters and meggers.
• Report faulty operations and defective materials to supervision.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a craft apprenticeship or craft training program.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a continuous manufacturing operation.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 60 pounds consistently.
• Experience with tools, methods, and practices used in mechanical maintenance.
