What you will do

• Serve as the lead SAS Administrator for enterprise platforms including SAS 9.x, Grid, and Viya.
• Manage platform architecture, installation, configuration, and maintenance across servers and BI platforms.
• Oversee security protocols and compliance with federal regulations to protect PHI and PII.
• Deploy, scale, and troubleshoot environments supporting approximately 3,500 users.
• Integrate SAS with Python, R, SQL, and other technologies to support advanced analytics and machine learning.
• Collaborate with VA stakeholders to develop automated reporting workflows and train personnel.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in SAS platform administration and healthcare data analytics.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination.
• Experience with SAS technologies including STAT, ETS, Viya, Grid, and Enterprise Guide.
• Proficiency in RHEL and Windows Server administration.
• Experience with healthcare database integration (SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, etc.).
• Bachelor's degree required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Department of Veterans Affairs systems and reporting mandates.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, PII, and PHI data security standards.
