What you will do
- Own and deliver quarterly goals for the Trust Infra team, leading engineers through complex technical challenges.
- Collaborate with product, design, and analytics teams to define technical constraints and project roadmaps.
- Proactively identify and resolve systemic issues in project processes, technology, or business operations.
- Support system availability by creating metrics, monitoring services, and participating in on-call rotations.
- Foster a culture of quality by setting design standards and conducting thorough code reviews.
- Mentor team members and provide guidance to support their professional growth.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States
- 4+ years of experience designing and launching backend systems at scale using Python or Kotlin.
- Proven track record of developing highly available distributed systems with AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes resource management, Helm charts, and security-focused workloads.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
