Vice President, Revenue Operations (Revenue Operations): Designing and operating the commercial infrastructure that enables predictable, scalable, and profitable growth with an accent on global revenue operating model, forecasting and governance, and revenue systems & data architecture. Focus on leading AI-first revenue operations transformation across forecasting, planning, pipeline management, and customer intelligence while aligning Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance.

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States (New York, Chicago)

Salary: $200,000 - $275,000 per year (base), plus annual bonus

What you will do

  • Design and continuously evolve Smartly’s global revenue operating model across enterprise, mid-market, agency, and partner segments.
  • Own revenue planning and forecasting, including operating rhythms, capacity planning, territory design, coverage models, and investment prioritization.
  • Build revenue delivery visibility with KPI frameworks and executive dashboards; improve forecast accuracy and accountability across commercial teams.
  • Create a unified commercial data architecture and lead revenue systems strategy, scalability, automation, and data quality standards.
  • Lead AI & automation transformation for revenue operations, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Data to deploy AI-enabled solutions.
  • Provide cross-functional leadership across Revenue, Finance, Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and executive stakeholders; lead and develop a global Revenue Operations culture.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience across Revenue Operations, Business Operations, Commercial Strategy, Sales Operations, Finance, Consulting, or related disciplines.
  • Significant experience scaling global B2B SaaS, advertising technology, martech, media technology, or platform businesses.
  • Executive-level experience owning commercial planning, forecasting, governance, and performance management.
  • Deep expertise in forecasting, compensation design, territory planning, pipeline management, and commercial analytics.
  • Proven success implementing AI, automation, and advanced analytics to improve business performance.
  • Experience leading and developing global teams.
