HRIS Software Engineering Manager (AI)

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop software engineers and technical leads.
• Drive delivery across the software development lifecycle, from planning through production support.
• Guide architecture, engineering standards, documentation, modernization, and solution delivery.
• Advance API-first design, reusable platform capabilities, automation, integrations, and service-based engineering.
• Partner with product, architecture, infrastructure, security, and business teams on technology roadmaps.
• Identify and deliver AI-enabled capabilities and intelligent automation while applying responsible AI practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, systems integration, enterprise application development, or platform engineering.
• 3+ years of experience leading technical teams.
• Experience designing and delivering scalable, secure, production-grade systems with API-driven architectures, enterprise integrations, distributed systems, and backend platforms.
• Experience with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, reliability, observability, and support models.
• Experience leading teams to deploy or migrate custom applications to Azure, plus experience delivering AI-enabled products, intelligent automation, or enterprise decision-support capabilities.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related technical discipline.
• Experience with enterprise HR, Finance, collaboration, or other corporate systems.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Quarkus, C#, TypeScript, React, microservices, cloud platforms, and modern data technologies.
• Experience with platform modernization, digital transformation, enterprise knowledge systems, AI tooling, workflow platforms, or developer productivity platforms.
• Experience using Terraform for cloud infrastructure as code.
