Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Milford or Warren, Michigan (Hybrid: 3+ days/week in office)

What you will do

• Develop and implement new features in the Drive Quality Development (DQDev) Toolbox.
• Apply machine learning methods to modeling and simulation for propulsion and energy analysis.
• Create methods for characterizing transmission hardware using dynamometer cells.
• Build and maintain data processing tools to transform test data into calibration inputs.
• Lead roadmap meetings to prioritize tool enhancements and bug fixes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of algorithms and outputs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in transmission development, calibration, or vehicle controls.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
• Proficiency with MATLAB, INCA, and Excel-based analysis tools.
• Experience developing machine learning methods for engineering analysis or simulation.
• Strong understanding of transmission hardware and powertrain controls integration.
