What you will do

• Manage and control product configurations for baseline products, customer deliveries, and program-specific variants.
• Define and maintain hardware/software baselines, including part numbers, serial numbers, firmware, and software versions.
• Ensure consistency and traceability across engineering data, production documentation, and ERP/PLM systems.
• Coordinate configuration changes with Product Management, Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
• Support change management processes, including impact assessments, approvals, and implementation tracking.
• Monitor product data quality and improve configuration management standards, tools, and workflows.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, aerospace, systems engineering, or a comparable technical qualification.
• Experience in configuration management, product data management, or technical documentation.
• Good understanding of hardware/software configuration management, baselines, version control, and change management.
• Experience with PLM/ERP systems such as SAP or NetSuite.
• English: Fluency required
• Analytical mindset with the ability to understand complex technical product structures.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, aviation, defence, robotics, or drone industries.
• Knowledge of relevant quality or configuration management standards.
• German language proficiency.
