Technical Product Owner (Space & Defence Simulation): Leading the development of a state-of-the-art system of systems simulation platform for space and air shield systems with an accent on real-time interaction between space assets, air-defence systems, and missile-defence infrastructures. Location: Hybrid in Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany. Willingness and ability to obtain required German security clearance is mandatory.

What you will do
- Lead and coordinate the development of core simulator modules, including geometry, scene generation, sensors, ground processing, and user modules.
- Drive the creation of technical concepts and requirements for the simulation platform.
- Manage and prioritize the software engineering backlog and tasks.
- Coordinate information flow between the software team and international stakeholders from OHB and project partners.
- Monitor and control technical progress, schedule, cost, and quality in collaboration with project management.
- Identify and mitigate software-product and project risks.
Requirements
- University degree or PhD in Earth System Science, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Signal Processing, or a similar field.
- Proficiency in technical/physical optics, spectrometry, signal processing, or image processing algorithms.
- Experience in scientific programming using MATLAB or Python, with a strong understanding of algorithmic complexity.
- Fluency in both English and German (spoken and written).
- Ability to obtain German security clearance.
- Strong skills in self-organization, prioritization, and structured work planning.
