What you will do

• Review and load financial data from Private Equity clients into internal accounting systems.
• Prepare and review consolidations, capital calls, and distribution calculations.
• Manage fund expenses, journal entries, and third-party reconciliations.
• Calculate management fees, carried interest, and investor allocations for NAV cycles.
• Prepare NAV packages and collaborate with clients, banks, and auditors.
• Supervise and mentor associate-level staff to ensure quality and consistency.

Requirements

• University degree with a concentration in Finance or Accounting.
• Experience in the fund administration industry with a track record of managing staff.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• In-depth knowledge of fund structures, fee calculations, and financial instruments.
• Professional accounting designation (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred or in progress.
• Must be based in Toronto, ON, Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience with fund accounting software such as Geneva, Investran, or Yardi.
• Working knowledge of Bloomberg.
