What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain components of PitchBook backend services with hands-on engineering.
• Implement efficient, testable code that meets performance, scalability, reliability, and coding standards.
• Build and operate AI-powered capabilities across the product delivery toolchain.
• Partner with ML Ops to integrate AI capabilities into tools used by product delivery teams (e.g., coding assistants, code review, testing, search, ticket triage, incident response).
• Support production applications: deployment, troubleshooting, and incident management.
• Provide technical guidance and perform code reviews; deliver small end-to-end projects with minimal guidance.

Requirements

• 6+ years in software development or engineering roles.
• 6+ years in at least one production language (Java, Go, Python, or similar) and 3 years with a second language.
• 4+ years with containers and orchestration at scale (Kubernetes, Docker).
• 5+ years with infrastructure-as-code and GitOps-style delivery (Terraform, Pulumi, or similar).
• Experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
