What you will do

• Design and evolve core identity systems including SCIM provisioning, RBAC, and fine-grained authorization across experiments and datasets.
• Develop tenant-aware schemas and platform primitives to support heterogeneous scientific data across life and materials sciences.
• Architect systems for tenant provisioning, usage metering, billing, and automated compliance workflows.
• Build agentic AI-powered systems for self-service tenant management and intelligent customer observability.
• Collaborate as a senior technical leader across platform engineering, security, and AI/ML teams to drive architectural decisions.

Requirements

• 12+ years of software development experience with a focus on Enterprise SaaS product development.
• Deep expertise in AuthN/AuthZ (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML), multi-tenancy, and RBAC.
• Hands-on coding proficiency in Python and modern backend frameworks like FastAPI.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud providers (AWS/GCP).
• BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with agentic systems and workflow automation in regulated environments.
• Knowledge of scientific data platforms such as LIMS, ELN, or bioinformatics systems.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks like SOC 2, HIPAA, GxP, or FedRAMP.
• Experience operating multi-tenant SaaS systems at significant scale.
