🚨 New Role – Emerging Markets FX Trader (High Impact)

Hiring for an FX Trader / Multi-Asset Associate to join a high-growth fintech building cross-border payments infrastructure across Africa.

This is not a typical trading role. You’ll be pricing and executing in opaque, off-screen markets where liquidity is relationship-driven — not something you click on a terminal. Small team (hire #2 on the desk), direct exposure to the Head of Trading, and real ownership from day one.

What you’ll be doing:
Trade FX across EM corridors (spot, forwards, swaps)
Source liquidity directly from LP relationships
Price markets where data is imperfect and fragmented
Build a live read on fair value + market dynamics
Support desk operations (recon, counterparty, risk)

What we’re looking for:
EM FX experience (Africa a plus, not essential)
Strong quant / pricing mindset
Background in trading, sales trading, or liquidity provision
Comfortable operating outside of G10 / screen-based markets
Relationship-driven profile with commercial instincts

➡️ Open on level (~2–5 years ideal, but flexible for the right profile)
