TL;DR

Director, Audience Activation (Ad Tech): Leading sales initiatives for Advanced Advertising, focusing on data enrichment and audience activation within agency holding companies. Location: Must reside in the US; Hybrid setup with 1-2 days/week in the New York office.

Salary: $117,500 - $150,000 yearly

What you will do

  • Drive new business and upsell opportunities for audience activation, enrichment, and data enablement.
  • Lead end-to-end customer engagement from strategy and proposals to negotiation and contracting.
  • Manage relationships with programmatic, digital, video, and investment teams within agency holding companies.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to inform audience development and GTM strategies.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for advanced advertising and data-driven activation use cases.
  • Ensure CRM accuracy and manage internal revenue tracking processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5–10+ years of sales or business development experience in advanced advertising, programmatic, or ad tech.
  • Proven success driving audience activation initiatives within agencies or brands.
  • Strong professional network across agency stakeholders, including programmatic and investment teams.
  • Deep understanding of the audience data ecosystem, including CTV and digital video activation.
  • Candidates must reside in the US at the time of application.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Challenger sales methodology and MEDDICC frameworks.
  • Experience applying syndicated audience data to activation and planning.
