What you will do

• Lead a team of software engineers, managing recruitment, performance, and career growth.
• Drive technical and architectural decisions to meet current product needs and ensure future scalability.
• Promote the adoption of AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and Cursor to increase velocity.
• Own team delivery by planning work, managing dependencies, and removing blockers.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management and QA to align features with the product roadmap.
• Maintain hands-on technical depth through design discussions and code reviews.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, preferably with SaaS applications.
• 7+ years of experience with .NET Core, .NET Framework, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript, and Angular/TypeScript.
• Working knowledge of MS SQL Server and SQL stored procedures.
• Prior experience mentoring or leading engineers.
• Must be based in Canada

Nice to have

• Experience in the EHSQ&S industry.
• Knowledge of mobile device testing.
• Awareness of AI/LLM capabilities including RAG, vector databases, or agentic frameworks.
• University degree in a relevant technical field.
