What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Software Content Developers, fostering technical and career growth.
• Provide technical guidance on crawler design, data parsing, and error-handling strategies.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of web scrapers using Node.js, Puppeteer, and Playwright.
• Ensure data normalization, validation, and pipeline observability are maintained at high engineering standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan infrastructure improvements and integration points.
• Drive root-cause analysis to resolve data quality issues and improve system resilience.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Spain.
• 5+ years of experience in software content acquisition, data ingestion, or web scraping.
• 1–3 years of technical people management or demonstrated technical leadership.
• Deep expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Proficiency with scraping frameworks like Puppeteer or Playwright.
• Experience working with relational or NoSQL databases and structured/semi-structured data formats.
