What you will do
- Lead and mentor a software engineering team, fostering career growth and a high-performance culture.
- Guide architectural and engineering decisions to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-impact digital products.
- Partner with business and technology leadership to align priorities and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Manage the full SDLC from design to operations, promoting ownership and accountability.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to execute the product roadmap.
- Drive the adoption of AI development tools and ensure security compliance with PCI and PII standards.
Requirements
- 8+ years in a software engineering role following Agile development processes.
- 3+ years in a team lead or management role.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience architecting and developing platforms using Ruby on Rails, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- 3+ years of experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB).
- Strong understanding of system design, scalability, performance, and reliability best practices.
- Experience deploying applications in cloud environments using cloud-native architectures.
Nice to have
- Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into products or engineering workflows.
- Experience working in high-availability, high-traffic production environments.
- Background in entertainment systems, POS, Ticketing, or Order Management Systems.
- Experience with CRM, Loyalty, and Membership solutions.
- Knowledge of Payment platforms (EMV, card readers) and DevOps/SecOps practices.
