What you will do

  • Lead and mentor a software engineering team, fostering career growth and a high-performance culture.
  • Guide architectural and engineering decisions to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-impact digital products.
  • Partner with business and technology leadership to align priorities and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Manage the full SDLC from design to operations, promoting ownership and accountability.
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to execute the product roadmap.
  • Drive the adoption of AI development tools and ensure security compliance with PCI and PII standards.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in a software engineering role following Agile development processes.
  • 3+ years in a team lead or management role.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience architecting and developing platforms using Ruby on Rails, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • 3+ years of experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB).
  • Strong understanding of system design, scalability, performance, and reliability best practices.
  • Experience deploying applications in cloud environments using cloud-native architectures.

Nice to have

  • Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into products or engineering workflows.
  • Experience working in high-availability, high-traffic production environments.
  • Background in entertainment systems, POS, Ticketing, or Order Management Systems.
  • Experience with CRM, Loyalty, and Membership solutions.
  • Knowledge of Payment platforms (EMV, card readers) and DevOps/SecOps practices.
