What you will do

• Review and monitor patient credit accounts receivable to ensure accurate revenue cycle processing.
• Research root causes of credit balances and perform necessary account adjustments or write-offs.
• Prepare refund checks for patients and document all corrections in the system.
• Rebill claims as needed to ensure accurate submission and full account adjudication.
• Coordinate with customer service teams to communicate effectively regarding overpayments.
• Track payment activity and report findings to the supervisor.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• High school diploma or Associate's degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
• At least two years of experience in revenue cycle functions, medical billing, or healthcare financial services.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of health insurance programs like Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care contracts.
