What you will do

• Coordinate daily hospital billing and manage inventory for assigned clients to meet financial goals.
• Process various claim types including rejections, errors, and rebills within established timelines.
• Communicate effectively with insurance payors and hospital staff to resolve payment issues.
• Maintain working knowledge of billing software and the MEDHOST Quality Management System.
• Leverage AI tools and automation to improve daily workflows and problem-solving efficiency.
• Ensure all activities adhere to HIPAA Privacy and Security requirements.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• High School diploma or equivalency required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital billing or patient accounts receivable environment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience using hospital claims management or billing software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• High-speed internet (min 300 Mbps) and smartphone for MFA.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of MEDHOST (HMS) software.
• Understanding of revenue cycle, medical terminology, and Explanation of Benefits (EOB).
• Experience with state and federal billing guidelines.
