What you will do

  • Translate business requirements into end-to-end solution designs for iSeries applications and enterprise integrations.
  • Define scalable, maintainable, and secure architectures aligned with platform strategy and enterprise standards.
  • Provide hands-on architectural leadership, guiding development teams on coding standards and best practices.
  • Design and manage integrations between iSeries applications and other enterprise platforms to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Oversee regional application lifecycle activities, including enhancements, defect resolution, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with regional business analysts and stakeholders to refine requirements and prioritize solution approaches.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in IBM iSeries (AS/400) environments.
  • Proficiency in RPGLE, CLLE, RPG/400, SQLRPGLE, and DB2/400.
  • Solid understanding of ILE concepts, including service programs, procedures, and modules.
  • Experience with batch processing, job scheduling, and system performance tuning.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain and Order-to-Cash processes.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders.
