What you will do

• Provide technical leadership to guide strategic customers through architectural and security design and deployment best practices.
• Architect production-level workloads, including end-to-end pipeline load performance testing and optimization.
• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud networks (VPC/VNet), routing, segmentation, and private connectivity.
• Assist Solution Architects with advanced technical sales, including custom proof of concepts and workload sizing.
• Implement Identity & Access Management (IAM) based on the principle of least privilege and IdP integration.
• Contribute to the Databricks Community as a technical SME through tutorials, training, and conference presentations.

Requirements

• Experience as a Data Platform engineer designing and maintaining production-grade big data systems (Spark).
• Deep expertise in designing cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with a focus on security and networking.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure automation using Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation.
• Production programming experience in Python, Scala, SQL, or R.
• Pre-sales or post-sales experience working directly with external clients across various industry markets.
• Based in Paris or Amsterdam with the ability to travel up to 30%.
