Solution Architect: Leading end-to-end design of scalable, cloud-native digital platforms for the hospitality sector with an accent on modernization, distributed systems, and hybrid cloud infrastructure. Focus on translating complex business requirements into architectural standards, driving cloud-native transformation, and fostering modern engineering practices like DevOps and AI-enabled development.

Location: Hybrid role based in Düsseldorf or Enschede.

Salary: Approximately €90,000 – €110,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture design aligned with business strategy and long-term platform vision.
• Analyze and modernize existing systems, including cloud-native transformation strategies.
• Design scalable distributed systems across AWS, GCP, and on-premise environments.
• Define and maintain architecture standards, documentation, and best practices like arc42 and C4.
• Collaborate with engineering teams through prototyping and reference implementations.
• Support the adoption of DevOps, CI/CD, observability, and AI-enabled development approaches.

Requirements

• Proven experience in solution architecture within complex, distributed, and integration-focused environments.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native and hybrid architectures using AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Ability to evaluate and evolve complex application landscapes and legacy systems.
• Deep understanding of architectural patterns like microservices, event-driven design, CQRS, and messaging.
• Fluent English proficiency is required.
• Clear communication skills with the ability to explain technical topics to business stakeholders.
