Technical Delivery Manager (IoT)

TL;DR

Technical Delivery Manager (IoT): Owning the end-to-end delivery of cross-functional initiatives spanning software, firmware, and physical hardware with an accent on complex dependency management and fleet-wide rollouts. Focus on building delivery structures, facilitating Go/No-Go checkpoints, and ensuring seamless implementation across multiple markets and time zones.

Location: Must be based in or able to work from Lisboa, Portugal (Hybrid role).

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of cross-functional initiatives from planning to live fleet deployment.
• Coordinate timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment across software, hardware, and operations.
• Establish delivery cadences and transparent reporting to keep milestones visible.
• Identify and mitigate risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies early in the lifecycle.
• Manage phased rollouts, staged deployments, and readiness checks across multiple markets.
• Improve delivery workflows, governance, and Jira tooling with a pragmatic, low-bureaucracy approach.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Delivery, Program, or Technical Project Management.
• Proven ability to coordinate complex, multi-team initiatives with overlapping dependencies.
• Experience managing multi-stage delivery across environments (DEV/QA/UAT/PROD) and production deployments.
• Advanced proficiency in Jira, including workflow design, dashboards, and automation.
• Strong understanding of product development and software delivery lifecycles.
• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in companies combining hardware manufacturing with software delivery (IoT, logistics, mobility).
• Familiarity with OTA or fleet-wide firmware/software deployment.
• Experience supporting initiatives across multiple countries and operational environments.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies.
