Portfolio Manager (Education): Providing strategic leadership for the Authorization Redesign project within the Professional Development team with an accent on aligning learning solutions with new authorization models. Focus on driving the design, development, and delivery of professional learning experiences across a global matrix organization.

Location: Must be based in or able to work from The Hague, Netherlands or Washington, USA. This is a hybrid role.

Salary: 75,439 - 94,299 EUR or 99,367 - 124,208 USD, negotiable depending on experience.

What you will do

• Define and lead the long-term strategy, roadmap, and success measures for the professional learning portfolio.
• Drive the design, development, and delivery of learning experiences for schools, educators, and leaders.
• Ensure alignment between learning solutions, strategic objectives, and policy frameworks.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams to manage budgeting, resource planning, and translation needs.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and represent the portfolio in governance and investment discussions.
• Shape go-to-market and value realization strategies for new initiatives.

Requirements

• Must be based in The Hague, Netherlands or Washington, USA.
• Significant experience in portfolio, product, or strategy roles within a professional learning or education background.
• Proven ability to lead prioritization across multiple complex initiatives or programs.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical capability, and ability to influence without direct authority.
• Experience working in complex, matrix organizations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with agile or product-led delivery models.
• Prior experience within the education sector.
