Systems Engineering Intern (AI/MBSE)

Location: Austria

Salary: at least EUR 2,698.59 gross per month, paid 14 times per year.

What you will do

• Work on Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis topics covering specification management, design guideline processing, MBSE, and AI-supported requirements engineering.
• Develop concepts, prototypes, and evaluations for AI-integrated solutions in Codebeamer and iQuavis.
• Transfer existing block diagrams of hirify.global Jenbacher systems and subsystems into the MBSE toolchain.
• Develop and test processes, methods, and tools with Controls, Mechanics, and Thermodynamics teams.
• Contribute to scope discussions, concept definitions, feature design, and technical solution discussions with relevant experts and senior engineers.

Requirements

• Ongoing Bachelor’s or Master’s studies in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Educational experience in system development and simulation, such as MBSE or MATLAB.
• Interest in system development and a strong team-oriented mindset.
• Availability for a full-time internship lasting at least 6 months.

Nice to have

• Basic understanding of reciprocating engines and power systems.
• Experience with requirements engineering, ALM tools, or AI-supported engineering workflows.
