IT Operations Manager (AI & Automation)

Location: Ludesch, Austria

Minimum salary: EUR 2,535 gross per month; market-oriented compensation is significantly above the stated minimum.

What you will do

• Manage the lifecycle and availability of local networks, server infrastructure, workplace services, and special-purpose clients.
• Monitor daily IT operations using KPIs and SLAs and drive continuous service improvement.
• Coordinate local business stakeholders, IT service owners, internal IT teams, and external partners.
• Plan and deliver small to mid-sized IT projects supporting production infrastructure and operational improvements.
• Coordinate external IT support, service sourcing, hosting, and housing activities.
• Evaluate AI-powered tools and automation to improve service quality, efficiency, and user experience.

Requirements

• University degree in information technology or computer science, or substantial experience in site IT management.
• Fluency in English and German.
• Experience applying ITSM practices across incident, problem, change, and asset management.
• Experience managing IT operations and services, preferably in a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of networks, virtualization, workplace services, IT and OT security, monitoring tools, KPIs, and SLAs.
• Availability for 20–30% travel.

Nice to have

• Certifications in IT management or IT service management.
• Experience improving production processes with AI.
