What you will do

• Conduct detailed investigations for EDD, Proof of Funds/Wealth, and Transaction Monitoring using OSINT and crypto analysis.
• Prepare high-quality case documentation, evidence, and SARs for AML Officers.
• Make reasoned compliance decisions adhering to SLAs while balancing regulatory risk and customer impact.
• Generate data and reports for Quarterly and Annual AML Controls Reports.
• Collaborate with KYC, Risk, Payment Ops, and Legal teams to resolve escalations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an AML Officer or in financial crime compliance within crypto, fintech, or banking.
• Fluent in English and German (written and verbal).
• Comfortable working a shift-based schedule (Monday-Friday, 07:00 - 15:30).
• Ability to exercise professional judgement and document decisions clearly.
• Must be based in or able to work from Barcelona, Spain.

Nice to have

• ACAMS or similar professional qualification.
• Additional European languages such as Arabic, French, Italian, or Spanish.
