What you will do

• Perform dimensional inspection of precision aerospace components using CMM and manual metrology tools.
• Develop and run CMM programs using Mitutoyo or Aberlink software.
• Interpret complex engineering drawings, tolerances, and GD&T specifications.
• Ensure all components strictly adhere to aerospace quality standards.
• Accurately record and report inspection results for quality assurance.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Tewkesbury, UK.
• Proven experience in aerospace or precision engineering inspection.
• Strong background in CMM programming specifically with Mitutoyo or Aberlink.
• Competence in using standard inspection and metrology tools like micrometers and height gauges.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and tolerances.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience compiling First Article Inspection (FAI) reports such as AS9102.
