What you will do

• Provide buying support and prepare detailed reports and analyses for the Buying Manager.
• Analyze customer needs, market trends, and competitor activity to shape range requirements.
• Source new products and manage the development lifecycle from concept to production.
• Negotiate product prices and supplier term agreements to improve the sustainable trading position.
• Collaborate with category merchandising and technical teams to ensure product quality and artwork management.
• Maintain departmental trackers and systems, including Buyer View, EQOS, and Range Plan.

Requirements

• Proven retail experience.
• Must be based in or able to commute to Welwyn Garden City for a hybrid work model (60% office presence).
• Strong data analysis and numeracy skills.
• Proficiency in report preparation and analysis.
• Passion for products and retail trends.
